Welcome to my website!

I am a Lecturer at Business School, East China University of Science and Technology. I got my Ph.D. degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2025.

My research interests are labor, development and agricultural economics. My recent work studies: (1) the evolution of occupational skills, and (2) the adjustment of migrants to technological shocks.

Off campus, I enjoy theater and nature, including watching performances and hiking. 

My Chinese name is 胡涟漪 (meaning "ripple").
